Baby,

I love you, I hope you knew how much.

You were everything to me. I am sorry I had to let you go, I really didn't want to.

The Vet told me you were dying baby, I had to put my trust in her. She phoned me and she told me you didn't have long and were struggling to breathe. I was absolutely broken my wee toots. I thought I'd left you at the Vets so they could make you better.

We did not know how sick you were my special girl. We only had 1 day when you wouldn't eat anything at all.

Did you want to go?

Were you ready to be set free?

Could I have done more to help you?

I ask myself these questions every day baby, with a very heavy heart.

I would have done ANYTHING and EVERYTHING to do the best by you my girl. I hope you know that baby.

You had all of my heart and you took a part of it with you when you went.

Life will never be the same without you, you completed me. You were my best pal, my baby, my everything.

Thank you so much for giving me 9 precious years with you. I wouldn't swap our time together for anything in this world.

Love is all that matters and when you died, my love for you did not.

Darling baby, I was not ready to let you go, but I had no choice but to set you free.

Rest easy up in Heaven baby. I hope you are in a better place now and you're still doing your security patrols up there.
